I went for a long weekend to South Dakota for my Aunt Betty and Uncle Babe's 60th wedding anniversary.
I got to stay with my Aunt Pat and Uncle Tim on my father's family homestead now owned by them. They have done a marvelous job of keeping the place up and the stay brought back a ton of memories for me.

We went to the Black Hills area last Sunday. Came home on Tues. I was honestly thinking about you, and wondering where the family farm was located. I know you've told me, but of course, can't remember. Glad you were able to get to the anniversary party. so important to be able to show up for stuff like that. It was a bit cooler, and we enjoyed the sight-seeing because of it. We even saw the Crazy Horse Memorial complex. Quite an ambitious undertaking. We camped at Sylvan Lake. Lots more people than we usually see in the campgrounds that we go to. Peggy
