Joanne surprised me with a hike down to Clear Creek to have a picnic and watch kayakers and tubers.
It was a beautiful night and now I think we need to get our own tubes, PFD's, and helmets !
The walk home was as pretty an evening as I can remember!

and the water is still plenty high...is it usually that high this time of the year?
ReplyDeleteWe just put 1500 miles on the pick-up in twelve days, all in Montana. Put many more miles on in the heart...probably had a hug for every mile from friends, family and former students. Totally marvelous. and totally exhausting! Loved the Folk Festival in Butte.
